Ceramic coating is a SiO₂/SiC-based protective layer that chemically bonds to the clear coat, creating an ultra-slick surface with deep gloss while resisting oxidation, UV, and chemical contaminants. Its high hydrophobicity makes water bead and sheet off, so dirt releases more easily, reducing water spots and simplifying routine washes. The result is a richer “wet look” that stays cleaner longer in daily driving.
Our process begins with thorough decontamination (pre-wash, two-bucket wash, iron/tar removal, clay), followed by paint inspection and multi-stage correction to remove swirls and haze so the surface is truly ready. After a panel wipe, the coating is applied and leveled panel by panel, then allowed to cure per the manufacturer’s spec. Dedicated formulas can also be applied to glass, wheels, trim, and even interior leather/fabric for cohesive, whole-car protection.
Maintenance is straightforward: pH-neutral washes, no abrasive shampoos, and occasional toppers (spray sealants) to keep hydrophobics at their peak. Lifespan typically ranges from 1–5+ years depending on product, storage, and wash habits. Important note: ceramic coating isn’t a scratch-proof shield or a replacement for PPF; it minimizes micro-marring, slows paint aging, and preserves gloss—delivering long-term protection while saving time on detailing.
